Project Description

When Emmanuel College decided to kick-off off their “Growing Forward Project” (a multi-year campus growth project) with a new residence hall, they selected Carroll Campus Development to develop and build a modern, luxurious student housing facility. CCD partnered with Emmanuel College to design and build a 48,100 sf, 3-story, wood framed student housing facility with a brick/cast stone facade. The design yielded a two wing residence hall centered by a student center complete with a computer lab, exercise room, study room and refreshment bar.

In order to add variety to their existing campus, Roberson Hall was designed as an on-campus, apartment style living (suites) residence with high-end amenities such as full living room and kitchen, private bedrooms and private bathrooms, granite and tile. To add flexibility for future growth and housing fee structures, two bedrooms per suite were designed to serve as single or double occupancy.

With our customized, unique approach to on-campus student housing we are able to deliver small scale student housing facilities at large scale unit pricing. Our pre-developed, pre-designed approach eliminates layered fees from multiple parties, removes inefficiencies of repetitive design cost and capitalizes on volume discounting through our corporate purchasing power.
